Conditioning Performance Course For Coaches and Instructors

High Performance Conditioning
This course follows on qualifications already acquired.  Prospective students should have the following qualifications:

  • BA (Sport and Exercise Science)
  • Personal Trainer qualification
  • Fitness qualification

This course offers further specialisation in various fields in exercise and sport science.  The outcomes of this course include, inter alia:

  • Principle of conditioning
  • Principle of specificity
  • Pilates principles for sports trainers
  • Perceptual and motor learning
  • Suppleness and strength training, etc

This programme is aimed at further programme design and applies specific principles to develop specific talents in sport and exercise science.  It includes, for example, medicine balls etc.  It is aimed at improving top athletes' high-level conditioning performance.

It is an intensive programme enabling further research and performance.  The programme is aimed at athletes' specific dimensions.  Additional in-depth courses and specialisation at an advanced level are offered by the ISO programme of the NSCA-CC-CPT, USA.  This is done in conjunction with IIFT and the universities of Pretoria and Stellenbosch.
